Ghostface Killahがこのアルバムからの音源をサンプリングした曲を発表したこともあり、早くもリマスターされ再プレス!!
「Wu-Tang Clan / C.R.E.A.M.」を生演奏でカヴァーしたり、Raekwonを招いてのPete Rock "The PJ's"のカヴァー「The PJs ... From Afar」を発表したりと、単なるカバー・バンドかと思われそうですが、このアルバムを聴けばその実力の高さに驚く内容となっています。音の質感や、音像はまさに70年代のファンク・バンドや、ルーツ・レゲエ・バンドを彷彿とさせる仕上がりで、Ghostface Killahが「Shakey Dog Starring Lolita」でサンプリングしたのも頷けます!! これはかなりオススメです!! |
