Troop "Spread My Wings"などをはじめ、80年代終盤から90年代初期にかけて多数の名曲を手掛けてきたプロデューサー/キーボードプレイヤーとしても知られる才人、Chuckii Bookerの2ndアルバムからのカットとなった、'92年リリースのプロモオンリー12inchがオリジナル盤仕様で再発!!! 人気の"Turned Away"や、"Don't You Know (I Love You)"を唄っていた1stアルバムの頃から引き続き、表情豊かに歌い上げる天性のシルキーヴォイスは健在で、美しく儚げな唄メロに、それに呼応するかのように切なげに奏でられるシンセを主体としたミッドダンサートラックはR&B好きの心を掴むことは必至でしょう!!! 当時Muro氏などをはじめ、Mix Tapeで取り上げられる事も多く、また、中古盤屋でもレア盤として有名で結構な高値で取引されていた1枚なので、再発は嬉しいDJも多いことでしょう。 |
