「Remix Jungle」シリーズ第3弾は、ウェッサイ好きのみならずR&Bファンにも人気のRemy "Roll Wit Us"! まずは"Gangsta Groove Mix"と銘打たれた(A-1)ですが、このバージョン名でピンと来た方は相当な好きモノ! そうです。あのR&Bクラシックスとして知られるShiro "Can We Talk (Gangsta Groove Mix)"のトラックを使用したブレンド的手法を用いたバージョンなんです! "Can We Talk"のグルーヴィーなトラックと、歌心溢れる"Roll Wit Us"との相性が悪い訳も無く、むしろ最初からこういうバージョンが存在したかのようなハマリ具合! コレは一聴の価値アリです! 続く(A-2)にはパーティー色豊かなオリジナルから一転、Warren G "This DJ"オケを使ったメロウ&スムースなバージョン! コチラもレイドバックした雰囲気が最高にクールです! 更に(B-1)には、誰もが1度は感じた事があるであろう「何故、イントロが4小節しかないのか?」と言う不満を解消する長尺エディットのされた"Extended Remix"を収録! 長めのブレイクがプラスされたこのバージョンもDJにとっては嬉しい配慮でしょう!! |
